It was reported that because of the special varieties of lotus, each lotus should be three open and three close, and flowering lasts until September, so from July to August is the most prosperous period.

It was understood that there will be dragon lantern dance "add the finishing touch", lotus festival opening ceremony, song and dance performances, beer carnival party, cheongsam show, Sichuan opera face and other activities on the day of the opening ceremony. There also will be agricultural products exhibition, "flower wedding meeting", lotus fairy trials, lotus food department and other colorful festival programs opening to all visitors free of charge in the 2 days of lotus festival.
